Robert groomed Limey. Erased most of the snowmobile vandal damages and walker damage. Should be skatable with B skis. Unable to set a track due to low snow. County also unable to set track in woods due to inadequate snow.
2 rogue snowmobiles vandalized skate trails last night. Will take snow and time to repair. Maybe skiers can pick way around damage but golf course skiing will be less frustrating.
Another inch last night. At 32 F it is too warm to roll , as soon as it cools we will roll again. Right now classic skiing is fine on the skate trails. Doubtful there is enough snow in woods trails to cover rocks.
We will roll 3″ received overnight. Skate trails will be classic skiable but pretty doubtful for skating for now.
6″ rolled very flat. Still thin and better for classic than skating but it is definitely XC skiing in north Iowa!
5″ rolled by Robert. Warm weather preceded snow so the pack is tight with grass showing. Classic only for now.
Mike used his new quad to roll a few inches. Wow. That thing is amazing. Flattens snow, no sled ski grooves.
Mother Nature will melt the waterways at the bottom of hills, but the snowpack is solid.
