MCCC

Groomed last night for classic. A few places where grass shows through are easily avoided.
Regroomed for classic. Wind had filled tracks. Should be good tomorrow.
At MCCC freshly tracked today so still a little soft but awesome!
Groomed for classic and skate. Classic is thin in rare spots because of drifting. Skate is soft today, but should set up firm tomorrow.
Trails are groomed and have been for 8 days. Since 3” snowfall December 27. New (for NIN) equipment grooms low snow very well. Public welcome for XC skiing. Dogs and walkers not permitted.
Is not groomed. North Iowa Nordic did not renew its contract to groom the Lime Creek trails this winter as walkers and dogs were making trails unsafe for groomers and skiers. Lime Creek has indicated they intend to groom when we get enough snow.
Rerolled thin 3”. It still is a skiable surface, but sun this week may melt it away.
Very thin trail holding up amazingly well. Still bumpy and some grass showing. A few inches of snow would really help. Frankly, but for our new (for us) snow machine, we would not be skiing on 3” of groomed snow.
Groomed for public skiing. 5 miles. Decent condition but low snow.
